BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly not to attend ACC meeting because of coronavirus scare – cricket

The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly will not attend the upcoming Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting in Dubai, scheduled for March 3, due to the coronavirus menace.

“Ganguly was supposed to leave tonight but coronavirus scare in the UAE has led to the postponement of the meeting,” a BCCI supply instructed PTI.

BCCI chief Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah have been to attend the ACC meeting.

But, over the previous couple of days, round 730 instances of coronavirus have been reported within the UAE, creating panic amongst travellers and locals.

Ganguly on final Friday mentioned that the following Asia Cup shall be held in Dubai, paving the way in which for each India and Pakistan to take part within the continental event.

Pakistan was the designated hosts for the event scheduled for September, however with the BCCI making it clear that the Indian workforce would not give you the option to journey to the neighbouring nation owing to safety issues, the occasion has been moved to Dubai. PTI TAP SSC SSC SS
