A former cricketer, who had reportedly performed in under-23 Ranji matches, has been arrested for allegedly cheating the CMD of an organization by claiming to be the PA of Telangana minister Ok T Rama Rao, police mentioned on Saturday.
A criticism was obtained on January 13 from the accounts officer of a personal agency that the CMD of his firm has been cheated by a person to the tune of Rs 3.30 lakh, a press launch from the police mentioned.
In December final, the accused had allegedly referred to as the CMD and launched himself as Rao’s private assistant.
He advised the CMD thata cricket participant from Andhra Pradesh has been chosen for an Under-25 world cup to be held in England however he’s in want of sponsorship as he hails from a poor household, the discharge mentioned.
