England’s Jofra Archer is likely to miss the Indian Premier League (IPL) as nationwide group coach Chris Silverwood needs the quick bowler to play cricket with Sussex to rise up to velocity earlier than the house Test collection towards West Indies in June.
Archer, who has a contract with the Rajasthan Royals franchise within the IPL, has been out of motion since January with an elbow damage.
