Jofra Archer turns house upside down for World Cup medal, finds it in guest room

England pacer Jofra Archer had stated he had “gone mad” looking out for his World Cup winners’ medal that acquired misplaced whereas he moved into a brand new house which has been “turned upside down” through the coronavirus-forced lockdown.

On Sunday, Jofra’s search for the lacking medal bore fruit. He discovered his medal sitting in one of many rooms of his house. “Randomly searching the guest bedroom and boom,” Archer tweeted.

“I had it (medal) hanging off a portrait someone did for me and sent to me, I had my medal hanging on that,” the 25-year-old quick bowler of Caribbean descent was quoted as saying by BCC Radio.

“I moved flat and the picture is on the new wall but there’s no medal. I turned the house upside down for about a week but I still haven’t managed to find it,” he added.

Archer performed an element in England’s maiden World Cup triumph final yr.
