Karachi Kings’ cricketer Mohammad Rizwan took a dig at his captain Imad Wasim after the defeat in opposition to Quetta Gladiators on Sunday. Rizwan, who commonly options for Pakistan in all three codecs, expressed his disappointment over not being picked within the taking part in XI. Rizwan’s remarks had come just a few days after Kings’ captain Imad Wasim had mentioned that the keeper-batsman “does not fit into the team’s composition”.
“If Mohammad Rizwan doesn’t [fit] in the team composition, it is what it is. No doubt he is one of Pakistan’s top wicket-keepers but if he can’t come in our playing XI, we can’t help it,” Imad had mentioned final week. “We have to look at our squad. We have overseas players and positions in the batting order. We don’t think he is fitting in the batting order anywhere right now,” he had added.
