Cricket Association of Pondicherry has supplied the dormitories in its cricket campus for use for Corona patients. In a letter to Lt. Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi, P Damodaran, former president of CAP and state cricket nominee for BCCI conferences, supplied the companies.
”We had constructed a dormitory for two cricket groups to remain comfortably i.e. 30 cricketers and eating, kitchen and so on in our cricket campus in Tutipet, Pondicherry. We stopped cricketing actions because of the outbreak of coronavirus. We can supply these amenities to deal with as much as 30 corona contaminated patients if want be with essential medical tie-up by means of Laxmi Medical College, Pondicherry,” Damodaran said. Pondicherry has witnessed one optimistic corona case thus far.
