MS Dhoni’s wife took to Twitter on Friday to hit out at misinformation concerning the previous Indian captain.
In a tweet Sakshi Singh Rawat wrote: “I request all media houses to stop carrying out false news at sensitive times like these ! Shame on You ! I wonder where responsible journalism has disappeared!”

She didn’t specify if she was referring to any particular piece of misinformation. However, Dhoni has been at the receiving finish of some criticism on social media over reviews over a donation he allegedly made to the combat in opposition to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some reviews claimed that Dhoni donated Rs 1 lakh through crowdfunding web site Ketto to the Mukul Madhav Foundation, a public charitable belief in Pune. Rawat had shared particulars of the marketing campaign on Instagram, urging others to donate as nicely. The Rs 1 lakh allegedly donated by Dhoni was a part of a Rs 12.5 lakh goal set by the belief.
While some lauded Dhoni, there have been many who’ve mentioned that the quantity is simply too little, below the idea that this Rs 1 lakh has been Dhoni’s solely contribution to the trigger.
